The Exploration Program

This programme has been specially designed to help young men to explore in a deeper way a possible calling to the Jesuits. It offers you the chance to get to know the Jesuits better, to pray regularly about your interest in joining them, to meet with a spiritual director, and to discuss the issues that arise with other young men who are thinking about the Jesuit way of life. The Explorations programme is flexible both in time and content, and can be adjusted to meet the needs and constraints of your particular situation. Talking about it

At this stage, you might consider talking in confidence about your dream with a trusted friend or acquaintance -someone who knows you well and who would be able to listen and respond sympathetically. Your purpose in talking would not be to ask advice or to win your friend's approval for any course of action, but to open yourself to further considerations that might have escaped you so far. It would be good to return to prayer with these considerations and to notice what happens in your heart as you pray.
